Our Story
Almost a decade ago, the journey of The Veteran Farmer began with the Farmer family. Lloyd Farmer, a veteran, and his wife Autumn Farmer understood firsthand the struggles experienced by military personnel and veterans. Their own experiences highlighted the pressing need for a center dedicated to addressing these unique challenges.
Driven by their passion and commitment, Lloyd and Autumn started The Veteran Farmer in their garage. They envisioned a place where veterans and military personnel could receive the comprehensive support they deserved, from mental health services to community-building activities.
Today, that vision has flourished into a network of six offices across Canada, with a seventh office set to open soon. Thousands of members nationwide now benefit from our wide range of services, which are designed to enhance their quality of life and provide the care and support they need.
The growth of The Veteran Farmer stands as a testament to the dedication and hard work of the Farmer family, as well as the trust and support of our community. We remain committed to our mission of supporting veterans and military personnel, continuing to expand and improve our services to meet their evolving needs.
